Delete your Choosy Goosy account
You can delete your account and data yourself in the app in a few seconds. If you no longer have the app, email us and we'll delete it for you within 30 days.
In the app
- Open Choosy Goosy and tap your avatar in the top right of the home screen.
- Scroll down and choose Delete account.
- Confirm with Delete for good. Your account and data are gone right away and the app signs you out.
Without the app
Email support@choosygoosy.fun with the subject “Delete my account” and include your display name from the app (and, for a Google account, your email address). We'll delete the account the same way within 30 days and confirm by email.
What we delete
- your account and profile (name, photo, sign-in email), notification tokens, blocked list and terms acceptance;
- the questions you asked, together with their photos and the votes cast on them;
- your votes and reactions on other people's questions — finished votes keep only the anonymous count per option;
- groups where you were the only member; in others you're removed from the member list and your group passes to its longest-standing member;
- data saved on the phone you delete the account from.
What stays, and for how long
- Reports you sent — until the moderation case is closed, then at most 12 months (longer only if the law requires it).
- Usage statistics not tied to your account expire after 2 months; crash reports after 90 days.
- Photo copies on other members' phones — they live only on their devices, not on our server.
