Terms of Use

Version 1 · effective 17 October 2026 · covers the Choosy Goosy Android app and choosygoosy.fun

Choosy Goosy is private micro-polling for small groups of friends. By using the app you agree to these terms — especially before you create a question, upload a photo, or post any other content visible to group members.

1. Service and operator

The service is operated by Rafał Majecki (contact: support@choosygoosy.fun). The app lets you create private groups (“flocks”), ask questions with options (including optional photos), keep votes secret until the timer ends, and reveal the result.

How we process personal data is described in the Privacy policy. These Terms govern use of the service and user-generated content.

2. Age

The service is only for people aged 16 or over. By creating an account you confirm you are at least 16. If we learn an account belongs to a younger person, we will delete it.

3. Account

4. User-generated content (UGC)

UGC means anything you create or upload that is visible to or accessible by other members of your groups, including:

You must accept these Terms in the app before you create or upload UGC. Without a current acceptance you cannot create new questions or add photos.

You keep your rights in your content. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and process it only as needed to run the service (including deleting option photos from the server about a day after reveal).

Groups are private (join via invite code), but content is still visible to other flock members. There is no public feed.

5. Prohibited content and behaviour

You must not create, upload, share or encourage content or behaviour that:

Option photos are only for illustrating a choice in a private group (e.g. food, place, product). Do not use the app to distribute harmful or illegal material.

6. Reporting and moderation

In the app you can report a question (including an option photo) or a user. Reports come to us and are reviewed — typically within 24–48 hours on business days.

After a report we may remove content, delete or suspend an account, restrict group access, or take other action required by law. For confirmed CSAM we remove the content and account and report to the appropriate authorities as required.

Without the app or an account, you can use the report form on the website. You can also email support@choosygoosy.fun.

7. Blocking users

In the app you can block another user. Their questions disappear for you, you get no notifications about their new questions, reminders or results, and they're marked as blocked in your member list. They aren't told about the block. You can unblock them at any time. Blocking does not automatically remove them from a group — you may leave the group or report them for moderation.

8. Invites and groups

Share invite codes only with people you trust. Group members see your name, avatar and the content you create there. We are not responsible for other members’ behaviour, but we act on reports under these Terms.

9. Notifications and availability

Push notifications need system permission. The service is provided “as is”; we may change features, fix bugs and temporarily suspend access for technical or security reasons.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for user content, decisions based on poll results, or indirect damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded (including for wilful misconduct).

11. Law and contact

Mandatory consumer protections where you live in the EU/EEA still apply. Contact: support@choosygoosy.fun.

12. Changes

We will publish a new version on this page with a new version number and date. For material changes we will ask you to accept again in the app before you create more UGC.
